Wallplanks are the easiest and best way to install a shiplap wall in your home or office! Just peel and stick these engineered wood planks to virtually any structurally sound surface, including ceilings. Available in a variety of durable low gloss finishes on White Oak and Walnut veneers and—our personal favorite—unfinished White Oak, which you can finish in a color and sheen of your choosing. We have lots of finishes for you to choose from! Each plank measures 5.1” wide by ¼” thick, in random lengths of 12” to 48” per carton (80% will be full length).
MATCHING TRIM: Available in every finish and unfinished White Oak; each trim piece measures 2” x 48” x 3/8” with an overlap edge that caps the cut edges of the planks on outside corners and edges. Please refer to the attached document Trim Information for diagrams of trim and how to install.
CONSTRUCTION: 3-ply construction, consisting of a White Oak or Walnut veneer, a Northern Hard Maple backer board and a recycled wood fiber core. The edge profile is a micro beveled shiplap joint milled on the long sides of each plank. The result is a light and stable plank that flexes just enough for the installation to be easy and accurate.
APPLICATION: Easy PEEL & STICK application. Just cut planks to measure for the wall surface you are installing. Peel off the paper backing to expose the factory-applied industrial strength adhesive and stick the plank on the wall, fitting the shiplap joints together as you go for a tight fit. Wallplanks can be applied horizontally, vertically or diagonally, according to your preference. Once installed, use the J-roller to level the edges and evenly adhere the planks to your wall surface.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Tape measure, level, miter box and saw, J-roller.
SIZES: Wallplanks are sold in carton quantities of 20.3 sq ft/carton; trim pieces are sold in carton quantities of 8 linear feet (2x 4 ft pieces). Wallplanks samples measure 6” x 5”.
