Sealing Concrete Countertops with Acrylacq
Thanks to our customers Troy, Robert, Doug and Hannah for turning us on to some great home improvement blogs for sealing concrete countertops with Safecoat Acrylacq!
While we're waiting on images of their countertops, you can take inspiration from John and Sherry Petersik (their kitchen is pictured above). Together they co-wrote the YOUNG HOUSE LOVE blog, which has step-by-step instructions on how John sealed their concrete countertops with Safecoat Acrylacq: https://www.younghouselove.com/sealing-the-deal/
And, be sure to check out more of John and Sherry's work--they've got more than 3,000 projects and posts from the three homes they've fixed over the years--a really great resource to homeowner DIYers who are planning all the projects they want to do in their homes, too.
ABOUT SAFECOAT ACRYLACQ
Safecoat Acrylacq is a healthy, water-based alternative to solvent-based lacquers. Typically used on unfinished wooden surfaces, such as cabinetry and doors, it's food safe and dries to a clear, hard finish with superior resistance to stains. As with all countertops, it's best to use cutting boards and trivets to protect your countertops from sharp objects and hot pots.
