DIY Clinic: How to Apply Earth Plasters
February 4th, March 3rd or April 7th (please register for one only)
Clinics begin at 10:00 AM and conclude by noon.
This is an introductory session for homeowners and design professionals from the Denver Metro area. Participants will learn about American Clay plasters and the easiest method for applying Loma to interior walls and ceilings. The instructor will present the simple, 3-step roll-on application and participants will have the opportunity to make sample boards using this method. Advance registration is required, as space is limited. There is no fee for this clinic.
Half-Day Training: Application Systems & Troweling Techniques

This is a hands-on class for applicators in the Denver Metro area who are new to American Clay, such as homeowners and decorative design professionals. The instructor will take students through one- and two-coat troweled-on applications, with emphasis on material selection, tools, mixing, application and finishing techniques. Students will have the opportunity to trowel plaster on training walls. This class is taught by a Registered Applicator and Trainer, who has worked extensively with American Clay. Prepaid registration is required, as space is limited. The fee for training and materials is $49.00.

One-Day Basic Training (for Contractors new to American Clay)
This is a hands on class for applicators who are new to American Clay, such as paint, plaster, drywall and faux finish professionals. Topics covered include material selection, tools, mixing, application, finishing and repairs. Students will be prepared to install their first two-coat project by the conclusion of this workshop. This class is taught by an American Clay Certified Trainer. Advance registration is required, as space is limited. The fee for training and materials is $150.00, and includes beverages and snacks.

Three-Day Advanced Training (for Experienced Applicators)
This workshop is a 3-day intensive, designed especially for experienced applicators interested in advancing their technical competence with the products. All of the application techniques, including an Enjarre spray demonstration, will be covered, plus maintenance, repairs and an introduction to artistic methods. Successful completion of this course, including a written test and follow up evaluation of 1,000 sq ft of installed clay plaster, will earn the participant Registered Applicator status and a listing for referrals on American Clay's website. The fee for this workshop is $500.00 for the first participant and up to three additional participants from the same company may attend for $250.00 each (a 50% discount). Advance registration is required; a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 reserves a place in this training.
