  • Rocky Mountain Pure is a unique brand of paint manufactured in Colorado with pure water from the Rocky Mountains.  Rocky Mountain Pure paints are durable high hide coatings for interior and exterior use.  Easy to apply and clean up, these low odor low VOC paints are intended as one-coat applications.  Available in White tint bases only.  

    Coverage: 425-500 sq ft/ gallon.


    Surface Preparation:  All surfaces must be clean and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax or any other contaminants.  New drywall masonry or textured surfaces should be coated with a suitable primer.  Smoke and water soluble stains should be primed with a stain killer.  

    Application:  May be applied to new or previously painted surfaces.  Stir thoroughly before use.  Apply to dry surfaces at room temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit with a roller brush or sprayer.  Only one coat is necessary.

    Clean Up:  Warm soapy water.

  • Aqua Shield is a one component acrylic waterborne finish for interior wood floors and other wood surfaces.  A clear finish particularly suitable for oak, maple, pine and other light wood species.  Designed for ease of application Aqua Shield provides good abrasion resistance.  This is a low VOC product available in Matte and Satin finishes.  

    Coverage: 400-500 sq ft/ gallon.


    Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be clean and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax or any other contaminants.  Casa Verde recommends patch testing previously finished surfaces to assure good adhesion.  Staining should be complete before applying finish coatings.  Sand wood with grain only.

    Application:  Allow product to acclimate to room temperature before application.  Temperature should be between 60 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit with 35-90% relative humidity. Shake well and strain.  Apply with roller brush or pad.   May recoat in 3-6 hours without sanding or wait 6-8 hours and sand before applying final coat.  Any coat left to dry more than 48 hours must be sanded.  Sand using a buffer equipped with a fine screen at low speed and move quickly.  Vacuum and tack thoroughly before applying next coat.  2-3 coats recommended for desired finish and durability.

    Clean Up: Use Old Western Poly Glow or other mild soap with warm water.

    Maintenance:  After finish is cured maintain the floor with Poly Glow Hardwood Cleaner for a clean beautiful sheen and ease of future recoating.
