Safecoat's top-of-the-line paints offer durable, long-lasting finishes that look good and wear well for years. Safecoat uses some of the highest quality, most highly refined ingredients available, which eliminate the residual toxic chemicals found in conventional paints. Safecoat paints contain no volatile organic compounds, formaldehydes, mildewcides, fungicides, drying agents or extenders. The result is a higher quality resin--and a higher quality paint film--with none of the unnecessary chemical additives that pollute indoor air and impair good health. Safecoat paints help seal in outgassing from hazardous chemicals contained in previously applied coatings as they cure.
Zero VOC Interior Flat, Eggshell, Semi Gloss, New Wallboard Primer and Transitional Primer available in Quarts, Gallons and 5-Gallons; Exterior Satin available by Special Order only. Safecoat DuroStain enhances fine wood with seven beautiful stains sourced from special earth-based pigments, for superior vibrancy and clarity of color. Unlike other water-based stains, Safecoat DuroStain contains no coal tar, aniline dyestuffs, gilsonite, waxes or aromatic solvents. DuroStain is a fast drying, semi-transparent flat finish wood stain for both interior and exterior surfaces. When used as an interior finish, Safecoat recommends a hard clear finish, such as Safecoat Polyureseal. See Sealers for more information.

Safecoat sealers are premium quality coatings for a wide variety of surfaces. Uniquely designed for optimal air quality and minimal exposure to chemical toxins, Safecoat products are ideally suited for schools, hospitals, homes and offices, and contain no formaldehyde, ammonia, aromatic hydrocarbon compounds or hazardous air pollutants.
Safecoat Polyureseal is one of the highest quality, lowest toxicity water-based clear finishes available today. Polyureseal's exceptional durability and abrasion resistance, coupled with high solids, low odor and low VOCs, make it the state of the art alternative to conventional solvent and water-based polyurethanes. In Clear Gloss and Satin finishes.
Available in Quarts and Gallons; 5-Gallons available by Special Order only (please allow 5-7 business days for delivery). Coverage: Approximately 350 sq ft in one coat per gallon, depending on surface porosity and method of application. In most cases, a minimum of three thin coats of Clear Gloss is required to completely seal the surface. An optional final coat of Polyureseal Satin may be applied for a softer sheen.

Safe Seal is a clear sealer designed to prevent the outgassing of toxic chemical compounds from processed wood products, such as particle board, plywood and other porous materials. Safe Seal applied to concrete and other porous surfaces adds water repellancy, but is not intended to provide a surface sheen. When used as a base coat, Safe Seal improves the adhesion of finish coats and covering adhesives. For use on porous surfaces only.
Available in Quarts and Gallons; 5-Gallons available by Special Order (allow 5-7 business days for delivery). Coverage: Approx. 350 sq ft in one coat per gallon, depending on surface porosity. Surfaces treated with Safe Seal should be finish coated.
Hard Seal is an excellent multi-use, general purpose clear gloss sealer formulated to provide mar resistance to both high and low porosity surfaces. Because it forms a continuous membrane when applied properly, it is particularly effective at preventing the outgassing of toxic chemical compounds from vinyl, plastics, porous tile and unfinished plywood cabinetry. Not suitable for surfaces subject to standing water or heavy moisture.
Available in Quarts and Gallons; 5-Gallons available by Special Order (allow 5-7 business days for delivery). Coverage: Approx. 350 sq ft in one coat per gallon, depending on surface porosity. Multiple coats of Hard Seal will build to a gloss finish.
The Safecoat family of sealers includes other products not currently stocked by Casa Verde, but available by Special Order:
Mexe Seal (for clay tile, stone, granite, slate, concrete pavers and other masonry surfaces); Grout Sealer (for porous tile grout); Water Shield (improved water repellancy for concrete, stucco, brick, block terrazzo, unglazed tile and vertical wood siding); and Penetrating Water Stop (improved water resistance for brick walls, concrete foundations, stucco, stone and most unglazed tile, but not suitable for wood).

Safecoat Deckote is a unique waterborne coating formulated for use on hard, dimensionally stable decks, including concrete and magnesite walkways, breezeways patios and garage floors. Deckote dries to a hard, tough coating, yet contains no offensive solvents and gives off no toxic fumes. It dries quickly, cleans up with water and provides a tough monolithic film for lasting protection on properly prepared surfaces.
Available in Quarts and Gallons. Coverage: Approximately 350 sq ft in one coat, depending on surface porosity. Colors (in stock): The standard tint base is White (which can be tinted in Pastel colors at Casa Verde); Deckote may also be tinted to any color by Special Order (allow 15 business days for delivery). A special aggregate may also be added to Deckote to provide texture and additional surface traction.
